Brrr, Bring on the Winter Coats!

11.28.2010 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

Man, we went from high 70’s to 80’s and then dropped down to 32!  I even have a flower bloomed out front while we are running around in winter coats!

It’s been so cold that I think that I need a new coat myself.  Since Jeremy and I have been fishing all the time I think I need something a little heavier than I have.  Maybe an insulated jacket would be a better choice.

The days can start off cold and end up very warm.  So something I could layer under would be better for going out fishing.

If it continues to get colder I may have to get the girls insulated kids coats!  I know it sounds weird to talk about insulated coats living in Texas.  I think a lot of people think it never gets cold here and you are so so so wrong!  It gets very cold here, especially those bone chilling winds that we get.  Hoodies just don’t cut it when it gets that cold!  I think the fact that I am older now also effects how cold I feel.  I get so cold that my bones just ache…do you get like that too?

Time to bring on the long johns!
