My girls love to drink the leftover milk out of their cereal bowls. Did you know that by doing this they are helping fulfill their body’s daily dairy, calcium and Vitamin D needs?
General Mills wanted to make it a bit more fun so that more children would slurp up all that milk. To do so they have created the Curvy Straws! They are available in packs of specially marked boxes of Big G cereal!
The Curvy Straws can be connected as well as mixed and matched. So while they are building bigger straws they are also helping to build stronger bones and muscles by increasing their calcium intake when they slurp up that extra milk through their crazy cool straws.
Participating Big G cereals are:
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch® (17 oz.)
- Lucky Charms®(16 oz.)
- Reese’s® Puffs (18 oz.)
- Honey Nut Cheerios® (17 oz.)
- Trix®(14.8 oz)
- Cocoa Puffs® (16.5 oz)
Made with more whole grain than any other ingredient, Big G cereal, combined with a ½ cup of milk, can help provide a great start to your family’s day.
One Not So Average Mama reader will win a prize pack containing 1 box of a participating Big G cereal, 1 Curvy Straw, 1 ‘spilt’ milk bowl, 2 glow cups (my kids thought these were so cool!) and 2 tangle toys.
This Giveaway will end on May 19th, 2012!
Disclosure: The prize pack, information, and giveaway have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark.
