I think it is pretty obvious to most of my readers what I do for a living. I am a professional photographer. I specialize in real life photography and mainly focus on children’s photography, baby photography, as well as family portraits, senior portraits and even pets. While I don’t normally share client pics on this website, I am sure you may have saw some of them on Facebook. If not, come join me!
As a parent I know how we react to our new babies. Photos, photos, photos! I am always taking photos of my kids, either with my DSLR, my Phone, my SLR and even a point and shoot. One thing that I think is so important is for you to turn off those flashes!! Please please please, turn off the flash. Use a window and natural lighting to get a soft light for your photos.
Photographer, author and educator Erin Manning provides her Top 3 Tips for capturing better baby photos. Erin gives you advice on setting the scene and getting close to the baby for those perfect images, as well as using a SanDisk Ultra SDHC card to make sure she never misses a shot.
Also, remember that a great photo doesn’t have to show everything! Try some different things while framing your shots. Get close, get low, try a different angle. You might be surprised at what you capture.
As a photographer, I count on SanDisk to store my images. A good memory card is absolutely important! This is not something you can skimp on. You want to be sure that those images you are capturing are being stored properly so that you can actually use and enjoy them.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for SanDisk. I received a product sample to thank me for participating
