Doesn’t that sound weird? When the internet first became something the average person had access to, it was a tool…a tool that could help simplify life. Now, well now it still is a tool, but it can quickly become overwhelming if you have your spoon in too many pots. I pretty much just described myself. Too many pots, not enough spoons, heck I think I’m only running on a 1/2 of spoon to be honest.
So what am I doing to change this? Well, first of all I am trying to say NO way more often. Also, I’m trying to simplify by using tools that can help me be more productive, while spending less time doing so. This is where a site like MyLife.com can be very useful.
The biggest online time suck for me are all the social media sites. Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Instagram, LinkedIn…I could go on, but I think you know what I am talking about. Oh and lets not forget multiple email accounts. I think I spends half my day just dealing with this end of things. With Mylife.com you can pull together all your email messages and social network updates on one free dashboard! One place y’all! Sounds pretty fantastic right?
I just set up my account today so that I could check it all out. As of right now, it looks to be pretty useful for someone like me. If I can get my social media sites under control with only one site, I will surely be a happier girl!
So how about you? What do you think would help you have a simpler online life?
