Why I Think the American Red Cross Rocks! #MasterLockProtects

I have personally never had to rely on the services of the American Red Cross, but I do know a bit about what they do and the kind of people that work there.  Scratch that, I take that back.  As a kid I took a Swimmers Safety Course as well as a Babysitting course with them.  See, sometimes we forget that they offer all of these other things.  It’s more than just the emergency services after the fact, they also help us have the tools to help with an emergency as it happens.  Take the CPR courses for instance.  You see, my mom worked for the American Red Cross for years.  She helped facilitate these classes for people.  She also was the one that would show up when there was a fire and make sure families had vouchers for a hotel and clothing…food…etc.

The American Red Cross is there to help in many emergency situations.  And again, they help the rest of us to learn to be prepared before the situations arise.  I was asked “When in your life has safety and security been most top of mind?”… In the past I would have said it was rare that I really thought of these things.  Now days though?  I think about it all of the time, so I have to answer always!  Our world has turned into a very scary place.
