My middle daughter Lauren is very prone to allergies.  She often has nose bleeds at night as well.  When I heard about the bedding that can help with allergies I was very interested.

Did you know that bedding can contribute to (and increase) allergic reactions? I had no idea!

Some of the main reasons why are that bedding made from synthetics contain agri-chemcials, pesticides and perfumes.  Another thing I learned was that bedding made from synthetics also traps moisture and makes your child’s bed a breeding ground for dust mites, bed bugs and other nastiness!

NaturaWorld.com sent me a sleep envelope to test out in my home.  The sleep envelope consists of a washable Wool Comforter and NaturaProtect Mattress Protector made with virgin wool and encased in 100% cotton.

My first impression when I opened the box was Wow, where is mine? I am big on the way things feel and this felt amazing.  I was already a huge fan of wool since I used it as cloth diaper covers for my children.  I know how well it helps with moisture and how good it is for regulating temperatures.

Lauren loves her new bedding and has been sleeping so good.  We have only had one nose bleed too!  I really think the bedding is helping to cut down the allergies.  I really wished I knew about this a long time ago.  I had no idea that bedding made with synthetics was so yucky!  Bad mama…

So the final test for me was how it held up during washing.  I have washed the set several times and it looks as it did the day it was new!  I wash it in my washing machine as I do any other bedding.  I am so jealous of Lauren’s new bedding…
