Air Bud: Golden Receiver, Review and Giveaway!

02.09.2010 by Girl on Fire // 79 Comments

This giveaway has ended!  The winner was comment #22!

airbudMy girls were so excited to review the new Air Bud: Golden Receiver Special Edition dvd!  The movie was released February 2nd by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

The girls love all of the previous Air Bud movies where Bud is normally playing basketball.  In this movie though, Bud takes on football when his owner joins the school football team.  The boy and dog  are so good that Russian circus owners dog nap Buddy to be their star attraction preforming tricks.

Morgan thought the movie was “hilarious“, she has loved all of them.  Lauren said it was great and “loved the ice cream truck” scene the best.  Emma wants to watch it again and again, her favorite part was “all of it“.

It was a great family friendly movie.  It’s hard to find those sometimes.  I’m really picky about the things our kids watch, but this one was A+ and who can resist that cute Bud!

Bonus Features

  • The Buddies Sports Channel – Join Budderball in the broadcasting booth as he and the rest of the Buddies, B-Dawg, Mudbud, Buddha and Rosebud, review the instant replay on the amazing football career of their dad, Air Bud.
  • Air Bud Sport Whistle Necklace – Exclusive on-pack while supplies last.

Suggested retail price: $29.99 US

Rated: ‘G’ (US)

Run time: Approx. 90 minutes

DVD aspect ratio: 1.85:1

Language: English, Spanish, French
