About that Comforter…

12.13.2009 by Girl on Fire // 9 Comments

You know the one that is older than my almost teenage daughter?  Well, I’ve been thinking more and reading the comments.  It seems that I do indeed deserve a new set!maddenSo, what do you think about the Chris Madden Comforters?  The 5 PC. Chris Madden Portola Shabby Comfortor set (pictured above) is on sale for $129.99 (regular price $359.99).  What do you think?  It’s kind of romantic looking.  I like the colors a lot.madden2I also like this one above, it’s basically the same color theme.  It is called the Beckton.  It has a calmer look to it.  I mean if it was just up to me I would totally go with something bold and wild.  The J-man though, eh…bold and wild is not his thing.  He likes more traditional things.  So that means no leopard print.madden3Ok, I am thinking that out of the Chris Madden sets, this one pictured above is probably my favorite.  Similar to the one I posted about the other day with the stripes.  The colors are nice, the stripes are a lot more doable than the floral.  I think the J-man would go for it.

What’s your opinion?  Do you like the colors?  The Floral or the Stripes?

I say yes to the stripes. I think stripes are easier to find things to go with then florals. You could put the florals into some extra throw pillows you find on the side or make on the side.

I am not into florals but I really like the colors of that set and the price is not bad! If you chose the stripe, you could add those wild and bold colors you like with toss pillows and brighten it up.

I like the middle one because it looks a lot like an antique quilt my aunt has.

Love them all, I’d probably go with something more patterned (not the white one) never know when there will be a black sock in the wash when you wash it. Patterns hide discoloration and look nicer in the long-run. I love the stripes, not too girlie and not masculine! Love it!

Totally stripes. You could get away with adding some “wild” accent pillows!
