I’m torn on this. Jeremy wants to put a flat screen T.V. in the bedroom. At first I worried about the space it would take up, but now with all this gadgetry, you don’t have to worry about that. They have mounts that will keep it up on the wall and out of the way.
So that nipped my space argument right away.
Then I said, well I don’t want to look at it hanging there all the time, but that same site linked above also sell motorized flat screen t.v. mounts. Basically it will move the t.v. up out of a piece of furniture, so when you are not using it, it’s hidden.
So that killed that argument as well.
The pricing at Stands & Mounts is super affordable and they have a huge selection of mounts (both stand and wall mounts), motorized mounts and all the accessories you could possibly need.
Part of me would be cool with a t.v. in the bedroom. A lot of times in the evening I go into the bed and snuggle up to read. Jeremy likes to watch movies at night. So he is in the living room and I am in the bedroom. If the t.v. was in the bedroom we could snuggle up while we both do what relaxes us best.
Another part of me wonders if it would be too much of a distraction, keep us up too late…etc.
Do you have a t.v. in the bedroom? Are you happy that you have a t.v. in the bedroom? Or do you find it is too distracting?
So as of right now, my only argument is cost, which gives us more time to think about whether or not we truly want one in there. I know that Jeremy would need to build me a special dresser that could possibly camouflage the t.v. as well.
Snuggles under the blanket with a late night movie does sound pretty nice with this cold weather….especially since I have that electric blanket on the bed….
