A Great Day out in London for all the Family

09.12.2013 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

If you’re visiting London this summer (or even if you live there already), there’s a new attraction in town that you simply have to visit. OK, so actually it’s a little bit outside of town but with great transport links from Euston and situated right next to both the M25 and M1, it couldn’t be easier to find.

So, what could we be talking about that’s worth leaving the confines of the city to see? It would have to be pretty special to drag you away from all the other amazing sites London has to offer.

Well, it is. In fact, it’s so magical we’re sure you’ll be wishing you were there right now. We’re talking about the Harry Potter at Warner Bros. studio tour.warner-bros-logo

That’s right. The most successful film series in history has got its own dedicated studio tour right here in London. For anyone who loves the Harry Potter books or movies (and we know that’s most of you, both young and old) this is an absolutely must visit attraction.

So, what can you expect to see? Well, if you’ve ever dreamed about wandering through the Great Hall at Hogwarts or having a snoop around Dumbledore’s Office then you’re in for a real treat. If you ever wanted to know how they made all of J. K. Rowling’s incredible creatures come to life then this is the place for you.

There’s a lot to see and do, including a chance to see some props and costumes from the films. You can even learn a few of the little secrets that helped the cast and crew create the wonderful series of films.

This being Leavesden studios, the place where they filmed a lot of the action, they should really know better than anyone.

London is a magical city with an incredible amount to see and do but thanks to Harry and his pals – with a little help from Warner Bros. – London just got a little bit more magical. So, if you’re visiting London this year or are a Harry fanatic, you simply have to book your place on the Harry Potter studio tour.

Each tour lasts about three hours and with the studio being able to handle about 5,000 visitors a day, it’s worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
