Being women we have a lot of stuff come to us in just one day that you just have to laugh about. If we didn’t laugh it off, we would all be locked up in the loony bin. Sometimes it’s easier to just laugh at these things than freak out and get mad or stressed. It’s part of being a woman, especially being a mother.
Today was definitely one of those days. As an example…I didn’t really feel like cooking today. Last night was long and I’m tired! So I decided to do easy stuff for meals.
I decided to make the J-man 2 Chicken Pot Pies, the cheapy frozen ones……
Well all went well until I tried to immediately place the first one on the plate. Half way to the plate that sucker burnt the heck out of me and I let go.
This happened right in front of the J-man. He looked at me like I was a crazy person tossing pot pies around the kitchen. This one ended up facing face down on a not so sparkling kitchen floor and splattering everywhere. I almost started to cry…then the hysterical laughter overtook that. I laughed so hard I cried, not because I was sad…but because this stuff always happens to me.
We get in such a rush sometimes and multi task that we skip steps. The step I skipped was allowing the container to cool for atleast second before trying to move it. Laughing made it better quickly though, although I still felt like a moron for being seen doing something so stupid.
