2 Years

07.18.2009 by Girl on Fire // 11 Comments

Wow, this blog started off 2 years ago today.  Originally called Stitchblade and on Blogspot.com.  I started blogging back then to share photos with my family and to promote my Etsy shop and Hyena cart.  I no longer stock my Etsy shop, nor the Hyena cart…but the blog has evolved.

I decided to seperate out the name Stitchblade and start my other site called Stitchblade Designs.  That way everything work related could be there and maybe drum up some graphics business.  I still sew, but not quite as often.  I hope to get that kicked up again really soon.  I do still do graphics! So if you have time check it out.  I have some recent work I need to add.  I’ll update that soon.

My goal for this third year is to post more about my family and things I am truly passionate about.  Our opinions, our goals and our accomplishments.  I would still love to do reviews and giveaways because they are tons of fun, but they will not become the main focus of my site.  This is one reason I have changed my front page around.

I hope you stick around for year 3!  Tomorrow starts a new day and I hope it is an awesome one!

Yay!! I like it when blogs are more personal. I’ve been trying to make sure I post “real” posts atleast twice a week so my blog isn’t taken over by giveaways, ads, etc…
    HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!!!
