I just finished watching the first season of Ruby on DVD. Ruby is a woman that lives in Savannah, Georgia and has struggled with her weight since she was a child. She is now morbidly obese. Today, she weighs over 400 pounds and quite honestly, it’s killing her.
Ruby was Recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. The doctor flat out told her that she has to lose the weight if she wants to live. The show chronicles what may be her last chance to take off hundreds of pounds in an attempt to save her own life.
The Style Network has pulled together an expert team to help Ruby do it. She now has a trainer, nutritionist, a therapist, and a physician.
Ruby is a very pretty woman with an awesome personality. It’s easy to like her and to want to watch her succeed.
She has a bunch of awesome friends that are there to help her and not sugarcoat it. I am hooked on Ruby and watching her journey. She lost 100 lbs in this first season!
