Camera Critters

I found out about a new meme today.  It’s called Camera Critters and it runs on Saturdays.   Sounds like fun, another way to show off some of the photos that make me proud. I do have a flickr account linked over in the sidebar if you want to see more.  I also have a site set up called Loudmouth Photography.  I’d love for you to visit!  If you like the editing in my photo, I do offer photo editing as a service at Stitchblade Designs.

It’s been raining for a week straight!  Yesterday though, the sun came out!  I was so happy to be able to go outside and I snapped some pics of the dogs, then I went to the lake and took pics of the pinks in the sky at sunset.

After that I headed over to Grandmothers to drop Morgan off since she was staying the night.  The horses were up at the fence  immediately to say hi. I grabbed this shot of the horses and plan on having it printed for Grandmother as a gift.

SwampBrat Got a New Look!

torisitebyTori over at SwampBrat got a total makeover for her site.  I moved her to a self-hosted wordpress site and kicked out some awesome graphics!

My Kinda Rain Has A New Look & A Giveaway!

My Daughter Is Wrapped Up In Edward Cullen…

….and quite honestly….so am I! She read through “Twilight” in less than a day and a half. This was with me forcing her to lay the book down and interact with the human life surrounding her. Same thing with book two, “New Moon”.

Friday night we caught the movie at the Dollar Theater (really $2.00, but still a steal).  I was immediately pulled into this love story and I knew there was no way the movie could even come close to the written words.

TwilightI am just now reading the first book…it’s a bit hard to find the time to read in this house.  As soon as I sit down with the book someone is calling me from another room.  I am sure you know how that is.

There is just something about the story that really pulls you in.  Like right now I am anxious to hit publish on this blog so I can continue reading.  It’s one of those stories that you don’t want to end.

Other than reading, today has been kind of an uneventful day.  I’m sick and it sucks. The weather here is to blame I am sure.  One minute it is in the 80′s, the next down to freezing.

I did complete a T Shirt Design for HIT & RUN, and it turned out pretty flippin’ sweet!  I’ll wait to post a picture until the shirts are actually available.  I posted it here.

Tomorrow is 4H, a short day though.  Morgan is taking a technology class and tomorrow they have computer lab at the library.  I’m thankful for the short day since all I really want to do is chill.

One more thing before I get back to my book…I still have a couple of spots left for the $25 Website or Blog Headers left!  You’ve got to hurry though if you want in!

Remember Those Changes?

Remember the changes I mentioned? Well they are happening now, as you can probably tell. Things look a bit different around here, new name even! Other things are finally coming together as well. You can go take a look at how the website is coming together: Stitchblade Designs. Still working on it, but its definitely coming together!

Also check out the website I have been building for my Husbands Band HIT & RUN, and also our friends HAMMERLOCK from Oakland Ca.

Some of you that have been reading for awhile know that our friend BC committed suicide back in July. He was our friend and the bass player for HIT & RUN. It took them a very long time to find someone who could take on his spot in the band. After searching for MANY months they have found that person. Mark from Mitra and Pumping Ethyl has joined them on bass. They are coming back full force playing a show with AGNOSTIC FRONT at Lola’s Saloon in Fort Worth, TX on February 14th. Yea, I guess you know what my Valentines Day plans are haha, maybe they will play me a love song?
