So it’s week two of A Season of Photography! This is a new photo meme from Veronica over at CrunchyVTMommy and Kimberly Gauthier. It is an 8 week photography challenge.
If you are wanting to improve your phtography, my biggest piece of advice is to shoot everyday! If you lack inspiration then join a photo meme! I never lack inspiration and I love to share my photos!
This week the theme is shoes! The photo below are of my girls hanging out with their friend Kimberly who lives down the street. I didn’t snap the photo with the theme in mind, however I feel it is perfect for it!

Anyhow awhile back I had started my own photography challenge through my blog, but sickness kept me from keeping up with it. So I’m going to play along in theirs. The theme right now is back to school. I’m sharing a photo of Art Class. Homeschooling gives us creative freedoms, one of which is making our neighborhood beautiful in art class. Tomorrow is the doctor! Tomorrow the J-man has a funeral to attend. Tomorrow is also the day that the J-man will be playing with the Supersuckers. It’s going to be a long day!
The allergies are still kicking our butts around here. The little ones are getting better, but I feel like I am getting worse. When I touch my face it hurts all around my left eye, I guess that would be my sinus cavities…ouch!
The J-man took us for a drive the other day right after a good rain. Everything is so lush and green after a storm. He took us to North Denton where the land gets more hilly. I got this great photo of a place I had never seen before.
I’m only sharing one photo today because I am lazy and do not want to resize any more right now! I have way too much to do today!

I blogged months ago about how I vowed to be in more photos. I was telling you how horrible it is that there are no photos of me and that I was going to change that. I have! I have gotten so much better about posting photos of me.
I am jumping on the chance to enter a self portrait into Mommy’s Camera self portrait contest. She has challenged all of us to get over it and snap a photo of ourselves.
To enter the contest I have to post the photo to my site. I just took a photo of myself Thursday, so I will just use that one. The photo has to show your face and it has to have been taken within the last month.
