You know, time is getting tight!  If you haven’t already ordered your holiday cards yet, then you need to get on it! You want to find the perfect card, which means browsing tons of unique designs.  Last year I slacked…I got the cards and then didn’t have the motivation to send them until after Christmas.  That is so bad.  I had the cards!  I had the stamps!  I had the addresses!  I lacked the motivation.  Not this year though!

I’ve already planned my cards for this year, but I am still coming across some other great cards as well!  Most recently I have been checking out Minted’s 2011 Holiday Card Collection.  I just had to share with you guys in case you are still looking.

Y’all know I am all about the photos! They have some fantastic photo card designs!  Check out this one below!  How cute would that be framed?  Dual purpose cards are a better value for your money! It’s a card and could be framed as well!

This one is even more my style, it has the look of a vintage photo!  Just make sure the picture you add matches this style!

If you are like me and your family lives far away, then the card below is a brilliant idea! You can give an update on your family along with the photo! It is set up in such a cool way!  I know my family would love to get this as a card!

Another great option is this mini book style card.  You can add a photo and some information just like pages in a book!  How unique is that! You know that card would be kept as a keepsake instead of thrown into the trash!

I couldn’t help checking out some gift ideas while I was there!  Photo gifts are the best! They have these awesome industrial nameplate journals.  These would make fantastic gifts for teen girls and even some of my adult friends.

Now don’t forget address labels! They make sending cards off so much easier!   Minted has the most unique address labels I have come across!  They are called Skinny Wrap™ Address Labels and they literally wrap around the envelope!  One end displays your return address on the front, then it wraps around with a fun message on the back!  There are many to choose from, I like this one the best!

That is a total time saver! I used to always write messages on the backs on envelopes, but since I have such a hard time writing, this is an awesome option for me!

What do you think?  Have you ordered your cards yet?

Can you believe how fast summer is flying by?  It’s already July!  We are over half way through the year and Christmas is really right around the corner!

With Christmas approaching, it’s time to think about Christmas Cards and I want to have  photo Christmas cards made of the family this year.  I did some last year and waited so long, that by the time I got them I was too rattled and wrapped up in other things to get them sent out in time.  Ask my family…they got last years Christmas Cards this May!  I’m totally serious!  You should have seen the things they posted on my Facebook wall!

I was thinking about going for this style card this year.  I love the Black and White!

Thankfully, there are places like Storkie to help me get it done online with ease!  They don’t only offer Christmas Cards, they have a huge variety of cards for all occasions!  Are you getting married?  Having a baby?  A special birthday?

So since we are a crafty family I thught I would ask you a question…

What do you use your old Christmas Cards for?

We make tons of things out of ours.  We have used them to make bottle cap magnets, bookmarks, gift tags, collages, gift boxes and much much more.

I think the girls favorite project was the bottle cap magnets.  They are really very simple.  Just cut the designs out that you want to use to fit inside of a bottle cap.  Glue it in and then pour in the epoxy.  Let it dry and secure a button magnet to the back,.  Easy Peasy!

You can also use flat glass stones and modge podge the images to the flat part where you see it through the stone.  Then secure the magnet to the other side of the card cut out so the image is sandwiched between the magnet and the stone.  You can use an empty Altoids tin to store the stone magnets to give as a gift!  Decorate the tin with other car cut outs, paint or fabric!

When I was approached about doing a review for Photoworks I was really excited.  As you all know I take photos everyday!

There is not one day that I have not taken a photo of something.

Photoworks recently relaunched their site!  Some of the new updates to the site include improved navigation, a new search function to make finding products much easier, easier access to help, faster uploads, simplified photo sharing, easier ordering and a lot more!

When I went to browse the products I was in shock over how much they offered and the prices were great!

They offer personalized creative photo cards, books, calendars, and other great gifts from American Greetings.

sprite_headernavIt took me awhile to choose what to get.  I finally decided to order some mousepads and prints.  When I received my order I was highly impressed!   The quality was great and the colors were so vibrant!  Anyone who looks at my photostream knows that I love really crisp vibrant colors.  Photoworks succeeded in keeping the original look of my photos in these products!

The personalized mousepads are only $10.95! As you can see in the photo above I picked two different layouts.  The first one I was able to put 12 photos in, the other was 3.  These would make wonderful gifts!  I can not express how happy I am with these.

I also ordered prints!  I ordered an 8×10 of the horse image you see in the mouse pad for the J-mans grandmother.  They are her horses and she was so happy with the photo!  I also ordered some 4×6 prints of all the other images I used in the mouse pads.

I can truly say I am pleased with all the quality products I received from Photoworks!
