Our New Favorite Friends!

Thanks to Rosie Hippo and Buzz Mommy, my little ones now have two new best friends! I am truly in love with these little critters just as much as Lauren and Emma are!

I love real toys. I’m not a big fan of today’s toys. I like toys that encourage imagination and real play. I think imagination is something that needs to be fed. Toys that are electronic or digital can not meet those needs the way a real toy can.

This set of two Monkeys is handmade of soft wool yarn with felt eyes, They retail for $65. They are sure to be an instant favorite for anyone! They have such an awesome selection of stuffed animals. These toys are are extremely well made from quality materials.

Browsing the site and the catalog I have on hand, I can find many other items I would love to buy for my girls! They have a huge selection of Wooden Toys. The toys they sell are Earth Friendly, Unique, Natural and Handmade.

My Experience With Mineral Makeup

I’m 34 1/2 years old and I had never tried Mineral Makeup. I’m pretty much a makeup idiot. Seriously, I wear foundation, Powder, Lipstick, Eyeliner and very very rarely Mascara. I don’t do blush or Eyeshadow. I’m just makeup ignorant and I certainly never ventured into Mineral Makeup. It sounded like it would be pretty high tech and only for the true Makeup enthusiast.

They had me fill out a questionnaire to get the colors figured out. When the kit arrived I was impressed. Everything was in perfect shades for me.

One thing I hate about makeup is that I get HOT! I am a Northern girl living in Texas. I just can’t get used to the heat and traditional makeup would make me feel dirty in a way. I set out fresh from the shower to give this mineral makeup a try and wow, I’m impressed! It felt like I had nothing on. I didn’t feel dirty, clogged or cakey like I do when I put on traditional makeup. It was truly a complete difference. It stayed on and I did not have the feeling it was sliding off of my face.

This stuff is so clean and fresh feeling and I truly think I will continue using only mineral makeup! The humidity control is perfect for me! Living in Texas it can get so humid! It sets your makeup and helps keep your makeup fresh! Everything I put on from the kit, stayed on! There was an informational pamphlet included that guided me through step by step on applying the Mineral Makeup. I’m sold!

She has been using this product consistently since it arrived without complaint! Seriously..we’re loving it! I hate hearing the kids complain and this just solved one of the complaints!
