As I get older I find myself with less friends. Each year I weed out a few more…each year I get a bit more happy! My family life is better and things are just great!
It’s hard to find those few. The few that are your real friends. Your friend through thick and thin. The friends that give a crap about you and your family and what happens to y’all. They are not jealous, condescending, gossipy or trying to use you to climb some social ladder.
When I got sick I noticed a lot of my friends were just assholes. Yes…assholes. They didn’t care. They only cared about themselves and couldn’t be bothered to just check up on us. Not even just to check up on me, but my family!
Your “friends” can really affect your well-being. You really need to rid yourself of all the unhealthy relationships in your life. If they make you unhappy get rid of them! You may be surprised at how good this can be for your well being!
I had to weed out a few more people today and may even clean out a few more before the night is over.

Apparently, to stay on top of things today you must read Myspace bulletins and Facebook status’. I guess the whole give a friend a call thing got lost when texting became a trend. I’m more oldschool. Please don’t text me, I would rather you called. Yea, texting has a place, and on occasion I can understand it’s use, but for a conversation? Uh, no. Email is fine, but don’t expect me to know what is going on in your life just because you posted it to Myspace or Facebook. How am I supposed to keep up?
