Mmmmm…Brains!

Yes, another spooky photo!  Be prepared for a lot of them this month!  Have your kids decided what they are going to be this Halloween?  Are you dressing up?  Tell me! I may go dressed up as a zombie this year with the girls.  It isn’t that much difference than my everyday look anyhow.  Should be easy…I already have the…

Glamour Zombie

It’s day 2 of October! We are anxiously waiting for Halloween!  I can’t believe all the creepy children running around in my yard! There are Zombies, Vampires, Ghosts and more! Today we went on a spooky walk down on the lake trails.  There were Spiders and Lizards running everywhere.  Sadly we didn’t see any snakes!  We did see a cute…

Daphne for Halloween

Emma says she wants to be Daphne for Halloween.  So far this is the costume I have found… Trying to figure out a way to just do this on our own instead of ordering, but then again the wig would probably cost as much as the full costume.  Hmmm…maybe I could just use that colored Hair Spray stuff, or Kool-aid!…

Wordless Wednesday, Identify this Guy!

We spend a lot of time outside just exploring nature.  It really is good for the heart, mind and soul.  Since spring is in full spring, there are so many critters to be seen.

Wordless Wednesday!

So we’ve had 2 birthdays this month!  Morgan turned 13 and Emma turned 5!  Wow!  One teenager and then my baby is officially a big girl now. Kind of sad and happy all at the same time.

Wordless Wednesday, Keep On Keeping On…

You know when it rains, it pours…right now it’s a freaking hurricane.  One thing after another keeps going wrong, including my car breaking down yet again.  This time with the children in the car with me.  UGH.  I had to push the Suburban quite a long way to get it out of traffic and out of towing zones.

Wordless Wednesday, Yes…it Snows in Texas!

It’s so funny to me that so many people are under the assumption that it never snows in Texas.  Some people I know go as far as to think that the entire state of Texas is a desert.  Really?  No the state of Texas is not just a giant desert.  I can promise you we have a little bit of…

Women Succeeding with Epilepsy

Do you know someone that has Epilepsy? It can be scary at times. I have been around and cared about several people with Epilepsy. When Emma was little we had a scare.  A huge scare.  I was holding her as she fell asleep while nursing.  Suddenly her eyes locked to the side and she began to have a seizure.

Wordless Wednesday, So Behind!

Wow!  I have let myself get so behind on so many things!  I have so much to tell you about and have not had a moment for a personal post.  Hang tight, I promise it’s coming!  You can read about the adventures I had in Florida, I have a few of those up now and several more to do.  Also,…

Wordless Wednesday, Vintage Dress up!

I love finding vintage goodies are the thrift stores.  My true love is vintage cameras, but I am also developing a love of vintage hats!  If you have some that need a new home I would love for you to send them on over!  I promise to send you beautiful photos of them!

Wordless Wednesday, Arkansas

I’m in Arkansas right now.  I arrived here yesterday and I already miss my family!  I am in Bentonville, the home of Sam’s Club. I arrived yesterday to an awesome hotel room.  I thought I was looking forward to a room to myself, instead I was lonely and missed my family.  I’m not used to alone time.  It’s weird.
