Emma says she wants to be Daphne for Halloween.  So far this is the costume I have found…

Trying to figure out a way to just do this on our own instead of ordering, but then again the wig would probably cost as much as the full costume.  Hmmm…maybe I could just use that colored Hair Spray stuff, or Kool-aid!  What do you think?  Help a mama out!

You know when it rains, it pours…right now it’s a freaking hurricane.  One thing after another keeps going wrong, including my car breaking down yet again.  This time with the children in the car with me.  UGH.  I had to push the Suburban quite a long way to get it out of traffic and out of towing zones. It’s so funny to me that so many people are under the assumption that it never snows in Texas.  Some people I know go as far as to think that the entire state of Texas is a desert.  Really?  No the state of Texas is not just a giant desert.  I can promise you we have a little bit of everything and it’s all just combined into the great state of Texas. Do you know someone that has Epilepsy? It can be scary at times. I have been around and cared about several people with Epilepsy.

When Emma was little we had a scare.  A huge scare.  I was holding her as she fell asleep while nursing.  Suddenly her eyes locked to the side and she began to have a seizure. Read More→

I’m in Arkansas right now.  I arrived here yesterday and I already miss my family!  I am in Bentonville, the home of Sam’s Club.

I arrived yesterday to an awesome hotel room.  I thought I was looking forward to a room to myself, instead I was lonely and missed my family.  I’m not used to alone time.  It’s weird. Read More→

Makaboo is a company that specializes in personalized gifts.  They have some really cute things!  In fact, the dress I got to review is so soft and comfy I want one in my size!

What they do is carry items by brands that most mom’s already know about.  Then they take those items and personalize them to make them super special.  This makes for a great gift! Read More→

Can I just tell you that I am thoroughly impressed right now?  Last night we did a little Summer Science with Wisk.  I even video taped it and will post it below.  Be sure to watch it, it features my little ones and I didn’t edit anything out, so there are more than a few funny moments!

In my first post about Wisk I just gave you some basic info, I hadn’t used it yet.  You can read that first post about how Wisk is bringing science to stain fighting with an upgraded formula featuring Stain Spectrum™ Technology by clicking here.

Wisk sent us a package in the mail with the tools to perform our little experiment.  Those tools included the following:

  • Protein Stained Swatch
  • Plastic Beaker
  • Lab Coat
  • Dropping Pipette (A.K.A Squeezer)
  • Goggles
  • Bottle of Wisk Laundry Detergent

Please watch and see what happened!

This post is sponsored by Wisk. I received monetary compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are 100% my own.

For over a week now all of our cable services have been going out daily.  I don’t have time for it to be out.  I am still so behind from the surgery and being out of commission.  So if you are waiting on something for me, please be patient.  I am trying and it will be done!

It’s the tv, internet and the phone.  They say it’s because of the train tracks they are putting in.  they are building a passenger rail line from Dallas to Denton and they are right by us right now.

It has cooled down this week…so early for Texas but I am NOT going to complain.  I am so ready for fall!

This photo cracks me up, hope you like it!
