I worry!  I worry all the time about my kids.  The little ones are not ever outside alone.  Morgan, because she is older has more freedom.  It doesn’t mean I worry less…in fact if I could have my way I would not let her out of my sight either.  That wouldn’t be fair to her though…ugh.

I do feel better knowing that Morgan does have a cell phone though.  Knowing she can call me if she needs me and I can call to check on her as well.

Have you heard of Moby?  It’s a smartphone app for mom’s and families so you can privately share your location with the people that matter to you.  You can use Moby with Android and iPhone and be able to see each other’s real-time location on a map!   You can turn your location sharing off easily if needed.

There is also a Check In & Request Check In funtion!  You can use the Check In feature to quickly send your current location and a short message to one or more of your contacts, or ask that one of your Moby friends checks in with you.

When you are considering gifts for others, what do you think about a watch?  I know I have blogged about this several times and I really am looking for the perfect watch as a gift for Jeremy.  Most likely leaning towards Seiko watches.  It’s a brand that comes to mind immediately when I think of watches.

I know a lot of people have quit wearing watches because of always having their cell phones on them.  Honestly I don’t always have my cell phone on hand and get quite sick of having to dig it out just to see the time.  I miss having a watch.  When I am out shooting (photos), it would be so much easier to glance at my wrist and quickly see the time.

I also think that it is better for keeping track of your time spent doing things.  Time escapes me because I do not constantly pick up my phone and look to see how long I have been at something.

Jeremy loves to fish.  He keeps his phone in the glove box on the boat to keep it safe.  If he had a nice water proof watch he would still have access to the time.  I think one that shows the moon phases would be brilliant for him.  Engraving it would make it a special, useful keepsake.

Who would you buy a watch for?

A lot of stuff was going on during the Holidays and we did not make it to the theater to see THE MUPPETS.    But I am happy to announce that it will be released this March!  Wooohooo!

Film Synopsis

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend, Mary (Amy Adams), from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze Muppet Studios and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the studio, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways:  Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.

Disney’s “The Muppets” is directed by James Bobin (“Flight of the Conchords,” “The Ali G Show”) and produced by the Academy Award ® -nominated team of David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman (“The Fighter,” “The Proposal”) with a screenplay written by Segel & Nicholas Stoller (“Get Him to the Greek”), who also serve as executive producers along with John G. Scotti and “The Muppet Show” veteran Martin G. Baker. Bret McKenzie, who created, co-wrote, executive-produced and starred in the hit HBO television series “Flight of the Conchords,” is the music supervisor as well as the writer/producer of three original songs. Original score is by Christophe Beck, Michael Rooney is the choreographer, Rahel Afiley is the costume designer, and James Thomas is the editor. Steve Saklad is the production designer, and Don Burgess, A.S.C., is the director of photography.
