Working Towards Better Credit

02.11.2019 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

Like most of you, I have big dreams.  Those big dreams can be hard to attain when life keeps throwing you curve balls.  Those curve balls can affect your credit in a big way.  Better credit is important for making my dreams come true.

I spent the last several years working on my credit score.  I was doing really good and I was super proud.  Then things out of my control hit us and down went the credit score I had worked so hard to build up.

better credit

The cool thing is, I know I can get it back to where I need to be because I have tackled that monster before.  But it is frustrating to have to start again.  It isn’t a fast process at all, but there are tools to speed it up a little.  Like bad credit loans for instance.  A consolidation loan can help you get back on track a bit faster and climbing up that credit score ladder.

Now a loan is by no means a “way out”.  It is meant to be a tool to work towards better credit.  You can take all of your individual debts and combine them.  Bay them off with the loan and then work on paying the loan off.

It isn’t a “quick-fix” but more like a band-aid to keep things in check, so you can work on the actual healing of the problem.  Taking all of those individual problems and making it one debt is a lot easier to process.  Instead of being torn in several different directions, you can focus.

I know what it is like to be overwhelmed.  The only way that I can tackle that overwhelmed feeling is to simplify things.  Then I can dive in and get things done.

When I put my mind 100% on one task, I can usually accomplish that task.  But with many tasks, my brain just says screw it, I’m done.

Our goal right now is to purchase land and a home.  Build a new shop and have the best life we can.  We are not getting any younger, so this needs to happen as soon as possible.  Being business owners has its good points and bad points.  For instance, we were hit hard in December with non-paying costumers.

The non-paying customers through our whole life off the rails.  Right before Christmas too!  So now it is February and we are still playing catch up.  Trying to dig out of a hole that someone uncaringly tossed us in to.  It wasn’t our fault that this happened, but it is our job to get things back on track.

There are rotten things that happen to all of us.  If you have never had a rotten situation, then you are one of the very few.  Life can be hard, but if we work hard we can all get where we want to be.

So a huge goal for this year and the main focus, is fixing the credit scores again and having better credit.  Getting back into a safety zone so to speak.  We can do this!

Check Out Branson

If you are going to be traveling this summer, think about checking out Branson, Missouri. One of my favorites for our family is Table Rock Lake.  You can rent boats out there and spend the entire day at the lake.  It’s nice and clean and very suitable for family swimming.  We spent a weekend there […]
