I’ve Never Worn a Sun Hat, Scala Collezione Sun Hat #Review

08.08.2012 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

I’ve never been someone to wear a sun hat.  But as I get older I am learning the importance of sun protection.  Yea, I’m sure it isn’t a happening look for me.  But better safe than sorry right?

Now I have to be honest.  You most likely will not catch me out and about in a sun hat.  However I will wear one while sitting outside while the kids swim, fishing at the lake, camping, etc.  I have enough freckles as it is.  If I get anymore I will just be one giant freckle.

I was sent the Scala Sewn Ribbon Sun Hat – The Tres Jolie.  I received the color shown in the photo below.

The sewn ribbon sun hat seen here is indeed very pretty as its name suggests. It’s a crusher hat with self trim and a four inch brim, and has excellent UV sun protection with a UPF50+ rating.

They have several different colors available.  The wide brim is great for preventing the collection of more freckles on my face.  Emma and Lauren love wearing it, they look so cute in the hat.

It’s super easy to take places with you.  You can throw it in your purse or bag and know that it will bounce right back to it’s perfect shape.

So even though I am not a sun hat wearing type of gal, I will continue to use my new sun hat when the sun hat wearing times are upon me.  You can get your own for only $30.

I was sent the product mentioned above to facilitate this review.  No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
