Some of you know that I really want my own chickens! I can not wait until we find the house we want on a good bit of land so that we can go ahead and get started.
I’m already making my plans! I want one of those rolling coups, Jeremy could build it no problem. I have also been checking into where you can find Ducks and Chickens for sale.
I’m not quite sure I have a need to find Ducks for sale, but if I find a place with a pond who knows what I’ll want!
Oh, I guess I need to know where I can find Chicken feed for sale as well! Tons of research needs to be done!

I dont but wish we could! I am in town but my Father in Law is on a hobby farm and could- he says he doesnt want to fool with it. I think it would be great to have fresh eggs, meat and nice compost!
I don’t raise chickens now, but had them when I was a kid. Make sure the rooster(s) are either well couped or their spurs are clipped. My brother’s rooster chased him around the house quite a few times when he was loose, and flogging hurts!
