101 in 1001

I totally stole this idea from Babes Rockin’ Mami, be sure to go check out her post as well!  Who stole it from someone named Amanda that I do not know and did not have a link to.  I hope you will in turn steal it from me!

The Challenge:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?

Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

My start date is: Sunday, January 1st 2012

End date: Sunday, September 28, 2014

(To make this easy since I have a sick brain I used Time and Date to calculate 1001 days from my start date!)

I hope you will join me in this fun project!

Pretty neat! Good luck with your goals, Brandy. I’ve done many many things on your list but I’ll come up with my own someday. For the ghost town you mentioned on the list, no better one than the haunted town Jeremy and I were born in – Jefferson, TX. As for visiting Turner Falls, go on an off day otherwise it is no fun whatsoever and extremely overcrowded. The Dallas Aquarium is neat. I hope y’all get to go soon.
