Halloween Traditions, Scary Good Costume Contest and a $50 Gift Card Giveaway from H-E-B!

Whew!  That was a mouth full wasn’t it?

Ok, we have been talking about Halloween like crazy lately!  One thing that we try to do every year is be creative in our costumes, making most of them ourselves.  If we do use a traditional costume, then we personalize it as much as possible. I want my kids to be creative!

We also make a ton of Halloween crafts!  So far we made our Halloween Calendar for October.  We have a lot more planned!  We also are making a Halloween Lap book to educate the girls on the origins of Halloween.

What are some of your family traditions?

If you’re lacking in the idea department, head on over to the H-E-B website and check out all the fun Halloween ideas they have. They even have some cool videos up for preparing some spooky food!

Right now H-E-B is hosting a Scary Good Costume Contest!

  1. I have to admit that I really don’t like Halloween. But my kids love it! So we’ll decorate the house a bit, and they’ll go trick or treating. And I’ll stand at the door giving out candy.
