I know it’s July and it’s HOT, all the more reason to turn your mind towards the winter months that are approaching fast and that includes Christmas!

Things Remembered is having a Holiday Photo Contest on Facebook right now!  It’s very simple to enter!  I entered the photo seen above of my Husband and middle daughter Lauren.

You are probably wondering why I chose this photo… I mean, it may not look like much to you, but to me it shows the dynamics of how our family works.  I hear a lot of complaints from friends that their husbands do not spend quality time with their kids.  In our family that is not the case.  The photo above shows Jeremy sitting down with Lauren Christmas morning and tackling a puzzle with her.  Not a video game, an old fashioned puzzle and her dad is choosing to spend time on it with her.  That makes me feel very lucky.  This photo is very special to me.
