Recently I was able to preform a fun experiment on my family by replacing our regular KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese with the new KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Veggie Pasta. Only Morgan and I were aware of the swap. We wanted to truly test the reactions to the product with out the family knowing in advance what was different.
We had two different kinds that we served at one meal. Original and Three Cheese flavors.
I want to start this by saying that I do not have a problem getting the girls to eat veggies! They love them! But still…I know a lot of parents struggle with this.
There is a half serving of cauliflower per cup of the new KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Veggie Pasta! It still has a creamy, cheesy flavor like the original. The cauliflower is baked right into the macaroni! It still looks the same, but the taste is a little different. Lauren usually doesn’t like the boxed Macaroni & Cheese. But with this she loved it! In fact she gobbled it up quicker than anyone else at the table. I too thought it tasted better. Jeremy and Emma didn’t seem to notice a difference and ate it just like it was the regular kind. Morgan as well, even though she knew it was different she didn’t notice much of a difference in taste.

i use v8 splash, tastes like fruit, but has veggies in there too!
I add pureed carrot to spaghetti sauce, mac & cheese, and other recipes. I also do this with sweet potatoes.

I add them to my homemade chicken pot pie
The little ones like to harvest ( and eat ) the vegetables from the backyard, so we make a rainbow salad together!
I put veggies on pizza, my son is more likely to eat them!

I put cheese on them.
I usually puree them into soups; my daughter hardly notices the difference.
I like to juice carrots to add to spaghetti sauce! You have no idea it’s in there and it adds tons of vitamins!

i normally cut up some veggies really small and sneak them in the mac n cheese
I haven’t gotten the hang of sneaking in veggies, my kids are so picky that they figure it out!
Would love to try these pastas!
My daughter actually likes soy sauce on her veggies
I normally sneak veggies in meatloaf, and spaghetti.(grate zucchini and carrots finely) Manwich also has veggies in it.

I don’t sneak vegetables in as I make them the entree and the protein as the side.
