Saving Money on Eye Glasses

06.27.2011 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

I’ve blogged about the subject before, but it is really worth talking about again!  Especially for those of you with children.  Eye glasses can be pricey!  Even if you have insurance, sometimes glasses break…especially when they belong to children.  Shocking right? Sometimes you want a spare (which I highly recommend!  I keep a pair in the car and in the house).  Or maybe you’re just that stylish and want a pair to match every outfit!  Well, with what I am about to share, you could totally afford it!

How much do you normally spend on prescription eyeglasses? $60? $100? $200 or more?  Not me!  I buy all my families eye glasses online.  You just can not beat the price!  The quality is still there and the selection is amazing!  imagine paying only $6.95 for your next pair of glasses!  Seriously!

At Zennioptical.com you can use the prescription you get from your eye doctor to order on line.  You just need the prescription and a few measurements which your doctor will give you..just remember to ask!  You need your pupillary distance.

I read an article talking about ordering online from places like Zennioptical.com.  The article was written from a great perspective of saving money.  There were interviews with happy customers.  I wanted to add my two cents in as well and say that we have never had an issue with ordering glasses online.  My friend Jessica orders her families glasses online as well.  Quality glasses at cheaper prices.  Saving money without losing quality.  Sounds great right?  Check it out!

As mothers, we have it tough. Thanks to things like women’s rights movements, society is getting fairer- however, it’s still usually the case that we’re the primary caregivers to our children. This means that it’s us who are responsible for taking the time off work to have, and raise our babies. While this is, of […]
