Did You Know I Met Kermit and Miss. Piggy?

I did!  When I was in Hollywood I was very surprised by a visit to the set of the new Muppet’s movie!  What an awesome surprise that was to a bunch of moms that watched this show all the time as kids.  I remember going to see The Muppet’s take Manhattan at a drive in theater as a kid.  Tons of memories surround The Muppet Show.

We were right there!  Right there watching them actually film the new movie!  You would not believe the amount of work that goes into the movie.  I also along with all my blogger friends was able to meet Kermit and Miss. Piggy in person!  Not just the puppets but the actual actors that operate and speak for the puppets!  It was such a great experience and such an awesome trip back in time!  I don’t think you would believe how excited all of us moms were when we realized what our surprise was that day!Yes, I know I’m looking a little like Miss. Piggy myself in this photo.  Still getting myself back to normal from the tumor.  I almost didn’t post it, but it is what it is and I think I’ve already changed for the better since the photo was taken.  So here’s to getting healthier and accepting what I look like as I get there.

So, here is the great news!  The Muppet Movie will be coming out on Nov. 23, 2011!  I’ll be there to see it with my own family as my parents did with me years ago!  Watch the trailer below, it’s going to be a great one!

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a  Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.
