Today I go see the doctor. I have rescheduled two times and cannot put it off any longer. I am sure that I will leave with no answers. I will come home with higher dosages, new meds and another insistence that I see a new neurologist. I want to see a new neurologist. It’s just the no insurance things makes it difficult.
Most neurologists will not see self pay patients like me. I did find one that will and I just need to save up the money to go. I took on a work from home job to try to help out with my medical bills so I have been trying to get as much done each day as I can.
I try not to talk about it a lot and I think a lot of people have forgotten that I am sick. Everyday is painful, but I try to keep as busy as possible so that I don’t think about it. The neurontin is obviously helping though. I can actually legibly write my name again! I can’t write a lot, but when I do it looks like my handwriting! That’s a big thing! I also don’t have the constant problems with my speech as badly. It’s an off and on thing now. The head jerking is very random and usually is a quick two or three jerks and then gone. No more hours of non stop jerking. So it has to be working. The pain however is worse. It’s spread through the majority of my body now. Even my jaw. It’s so weird. Blah, anyhow enough about that! Time to share some photos!

Come on now, surely their is a doc out there that is so anxious to become “The” Dr. House for real, and solve this poor girls mystery illness.
Brandy, I am so sorry about all the crap you deal with on a daily basis. It’s not fair and it must be so freakin’ frustrating. I pray you can find answers to help you soon.
Just sending over some wonderfully good thoughts for you. It’s so frustrating to go to the dr. and leave not knowing anything more than when you stepped in. I’ll send a prayer up, and hope others will too, for a swift diagnosis and rapid recovery. In the meantime, I’m sending over happy thoughts and a virtual hug.
I seriously wish I could come down there and kick some doctors’ butts for you. I know how frustrating it is and it’s plain NOT FAIR. I’m always here if you need me girly, I’m always thinking of you!
