Softsoap Foam Works and the Get Ready Timer! Giveaway!

So yea, I got germs on the mind.

Especially now that I have a child fighting something right now.  Emma came down with a fever last night and I’m not feeling so hot myself!

So what else can you do to help prevent the spread of the germies?  Teach your kids proper hand washing!

Softsoap Foam Works has soap pumps with your child’s favorite characters like Spongebob and Dora.  Having a pump featuring a character they love will encourage them to want to wash their hands.

Softsoap brand has teamed up with the American Public Health Association (APHA) to create unique “Get Ready” hand washing timers that easily attach directly to Softsoap brand soap pumps.

To make it even more fun for them you can add a “Get Ready” hand washing timer.  The timers slip right on the pump top of the soap.  When you press them the timers play a fun song to help your kids wash their hands for a full 20 seconds.  When the song stops they know it’s time to rinse.

The girls have been using the “Get Ready” hand washing timer.  I like it because I can hear when they are washing their hands after using the potty and other activities.  They think it’s cool and I do too!  Let’s squash the germies!

The Giveaway!

Two Not So Average Mama readers will each win a Softsoap Foam Works Spongebob hand soap pump along with the “Get Ready” hand washing timer.

At home we practice correct handwashing techniques and also we sneeze into our elbows not hands. In public I NEVER touch door handles, I use napkins followed by a quick rub of anti-bacterial hand sanitizer, because those handles are full of germs!
