A little over a year ago I received my first Tassimo! I was in love. I felt like I had a coffee shop in my house. A month ago I received the newest model and I know it’s hard to believe, but I fell even more in love with the Tassimo T20.
It’s so amazing what this little machine can do…all drinks pretty much in under 60 seconds! There are a few differences between this model and the model I had before. The first thing I noticed was the size. It’s even more compact than my first machine. It fits perfectly on my counter and takes up very little space. Much less space than an espresso machine! I also noticed that the base is different than before. This is a big improvement. Instead of the metal grate it now has a more attractive plastic grate that is easier to remove and clean. Oh, the sound…it doesn’t seem as loud as the first machine I had either.
- Makes coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, espresso and hot cocoa (you can even find them at Walmart!)
- Makes drinks in about 1 minute
- Includes an exclusive flow–through water heater for faster, quieter brewing (I definitely noticed it was quieter!)
- Space saving design ideal for apartments, dorm rooms and countertops (more compact for sure!)
- Smart bar code technology allows the brewer to adjust each beverage with the proper temperature pressure and amount of water (no brain power or skills needed, perfect for someone like me!)
- 5.6 lbs.
- Brewer dimensions: Width: 7.88″ ; Height: 11″ ; Depth: 11.75″
- Imported
- 1.5 Liter water tank
- $129.99
As I said in my last review, some people think the T-Discs are expensive. Again…think of how many drinks it makes and compare that to a coffee shop like Starbucks. This ends up being much cheaper! I know having it has saved me money and still fulfills my need of awesome coffee. Heck even Jenny (my non coffee drinking friend) will drink my fancy coffee drinks that the Tassimo makes for me!
What would be awesome though if there was some refillable T-Discs we could buy to save on the amount of waste produced. Maybe that could be a feature of the next model? I think that is the only thing I would want to change about the Tassimo.
You can buy the T-Discs online at the Tassimo site and even on Amazon
. You can also find them in some of your local stores, like Walmart.

I received the Tassimo as well as some samples of T Discs to use with it for my review. I was not compensated in any other way for my post. All opinions are 100% mine. I am just one individual as are you. My opinions may different from yours, but alas…they are my opinions. While I think most people will agree with my opinions because I am awesome…I just can not guarantee that you will have the same results as I. Afterall, it ain’t easy being me.
