The Sorcerer’s Apprentice on DVD and Blu-ray!

I used to be a huge Nicolas Cage fan.  Raising Arizona was one of my favorite movies.  As the years went by he was less and less appealing to me.  I was sad.  I wondered what happened to him.  He was different.  So needless to say, I did not rush right out to see The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.  I was afraid to be disappointed in my old friend Nick again.

Boy was I wrong!  He rocked it in this movie.  He was funny and cool as Balthazar Blake!  I was so into the movie, it kept me wondering what was going to happen next.  Full of action, excitement and humor that appealed to me as well as my kids ranging in ages 12 all the way down to 4.

Jay Baruche is hilarious!  He plays Dave, who is this super smart awkward geeky type of guy that is supposed to be Merlin’s successor.  He is the sorcerer’s apprentice!

My girls loved the movie.  Morgan loved the humor and thought Dave was just awesome.  Lauren and Emma were totally into the action of the movie.  Their favorite part being the dragon and a gigantic eagle.  They were glued to the screen the entire time.  This movie really doesn’t have a boring moment in it.  Your watching to see what will happen next.  The special effects were awesome and the story of good versus evil was great.  You watch a geeky scared boy turn into a brave and powerful man with enormous confidence near the end.

We think this is a great family movie and it would make a great Christmas present!
