Wisk, Stain Spectrum Technology Versus the Carbohydrate Stain!

Once again, this Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology has blown me away!  Wisk used to (and still is) known as the “Ring around the collar remover”.  Let me tell you…it does so much more than that!  If you didn’t watch our protein stain removal video, please go watch it.

This time of year everyone is having cookouts.  The weather is awesome here in Texas right now.  Along with cookouts comes stained shirts.  Ketchup, BBQ Sauce, Mustard…you know how it goes.

There are hundreds of different stains but most stains fall into three major groups:

  • Carbohydrates such as milk chocolate
  • Proteins such as grass
  • Oils such as peanut butter

Normally I have to work my hiney off to just get the stain to fade a bit, it never quite goes away.

My youngest girls and I put Wisk to the test again!  This time against ketchup!  I really thought it wouldn’t work.  First Lauren attacked Emma with ketchup, being sure to make a good rubbed in stain.

She made quite a mess of that new white shirt!  Emma said “Oh No!”

It was at this point I became extremely doubtful.  How could it possibly take this stain out completely?  I was truly expecting a dingy looking shirt after this.  But, we continued on with the experiment to see what would happen.

Our next step was to treat it with Wisk and allow it to sit for 5 minutes.  The first photo is the stain untreated, the second is applying Wisk, the third is after we rubbed it in and the fourth is after it had sat for 5 min.  I still had my doubts…

Our next step was to rinse the stained shirt in lukewarm water.  Lauren rinsed it in a large bowl and swished it for minute.

I took the shirt and put it in the drier so we could see the full effect of what happened…

Blew my mind, for real…the stain was completely gone!

This is why I have changed laundry detergents and will continue to use Wisk!  I think you should put it to the test too!

The great thing is we won’t have to pay out more to get this new Wisk formula. The suggested retail price is $5.99 for 50 fl oz./32 loads.   That is super affordable compared to what I have been using in the past.  It’s available this month at major retailers such as Target, Kroger and Walmart.

Wow! It really works?!? I have a couple of stain-monsters in my family that ruin clothes on a regular basis.. or at least I thought the clothes were ruined! With a baby, a toddler, and a hard-working husband, I’m plagued with stained clothing. I am definitely going to try Wisk, and maybe I can stop throwing money away on my family’s stained clothes!
