What’s Going On?

I have been so busy that I really have not posted a personal post lately!  Our school year is so full this year.  Morgan has volleyball twice a week and both Morgan and Lauren have joined American Heritage Girls!  We are also sticking our toes into all sorts of activities this year!  SO glad I have my Busy Body Book to keep my brain straight!

Tomorrow is our at home day, we need to have a few days a week where we do not go anywhere and I have dedicated Wednesday as that day.  We will be doing our heavy chores tomorrow, nature journaling and then we will be venturing out in the early evening to gather pine cones for some Christmas crafts we have planned.

I will be posting a lot of our school crafts and activities on my newest site My Frugal Home.  You will find Homeschool goodies, Freebie, Coupon Deals, Things going on in DFW  and more over there.  Please go subscribe so you don’t miss out on anything!

Sunday I did an awesome shoot with a beautiful girl named Catlyn.  Catlyn is a dancer and homeschooler.  Her photos turned out so pretty!  I hope to get to do their family photos soon!  You can see some of the photos that have been edited so far over on my flickr.  It’s easy to get to,  just look in my sidebar for the flickr feed of photos and click on over.

I am up to 3 doses a day of Neurontin, I hope to get it upped more soon because I am starting to notice things slightly improving.  I can actually sign my name and it be legible!  This is huge!  I also take Robaxin at night which is a muscle relaxer.  It helps with the leg pain that was making it extremely difficult for me to walk.  I do not take any painpills!  Now, that does not mean I am not in pain, I’m just trying to deal…be tough…lol.  I am still having trouble sleeping, if you follow me on getglue you probably have noticed my late night habits there.

So anyhow….What’s new with you?

Glad to hear you’re finally getting some sort of relief from the meds. I try not to take any pain meds either if I can help it. I try to save them for the REALLY bad days.

Funny you mention you had to carve out home days. I’ve talked to several homeschoolers who have that issue. They said around here there are so many activities that they end up out doing more and then having to buckle down in the Spring if they don’t plan.

  2. I’m glad the Neurontin and Robaxin are helping. As a chronic pain sufferer, I know how it is to not be able to sleep because once you lay down and you start to relax, the pain pounces on you. Keeping you in my prayers, still.
