Wisk, Helping me Get it Done Like Mom!

You’ll hate me for admitting it but I love to do laundry!  I also have to admit…I am addicted to laundry products.  I’m that girl you see in the detergent aisle sniffing the bottles (you can also find me in the shampoo aisle).

My mom could get any sort of stain out.  She knows all the tricks.  If only I had paid more attention growing up!  Thankfully for me the tools of the trade have gotten so much better that I don’t need to know all of my moms secrets to get our kids clothing clean.

So, anyhow Wisk made me think about how much things have changed over the years.  The detergents, fabric softeners, the washing machines…it has all changed so much!

I remember always having grass stained jeans.  Now days I rarely see a kid running around with grass stained knees unless they just did it right that day.  It’s possible to treat that and get it out!

You all know I have girls…messy girls.  Morgan loves to be outdoors with animals and she sure does get dirty.  Lauren loves art and is always covered in pen, marker, paint…you get the picture.  Emma, well Emma just likes to use her clothes as rags and napkins.  She’s also a messy eater and drinker.  So with these messy girls we still have some struggles.

Guess what though…

Wisk is is reinventing the way you’ll look at stains with a powerful new formula and a red-hot bottle.  Did you know that Wisk was the first liquid laundry detergent to market in back in 1956?  That was over 50 years ago and they are still kicking it strong!

I bet you remember the “Ring around the collar” commercials from when you were younger.  Check out this one for a blast form the past!

I bet you want to know what’s new right?

Wisk is bringing science to stain fighting with an upgraded formula featuring Stain Spectrum™ Technology. What this means is the enzymes and cleaning agents contained in the new Wisk formula will target a full range of stains on a molecular level (that’s science talk) for a more powerful clean.

According to what I have read, most stains fall into the following groups:

  • Carbohydrates such as milk chocolate
  • Proteins such as grass
  • Oils such as peanut butter

Now, they say this new stain fighting formula is the solution to tackle them all.  I can’t wait to test it out for myself and share with you.

The great thing is we won’t have to pay out more to get this new Wisk formula. The suggested retail price is $5.99 for 50 fl oz./32 loads.   That is super affordable compared to what I have been using in the past.  It’s available this month at major retailers such as Target, Kroger and Walmart.

You know, you’re right. I hardly see kids with stained up clothes like we had growing up anymore. And come to think of it, my kids get MESSY. I guess laundry detergents have come a long way since our moms were doing our clothes.
