I had no idea that hormel Chili and Dinty Moore had been around for 75 years! It’s always a good sign when a company is around a long time like that. Some of my favorite brands have been around for many many years.
Morgan prefers the updated twist of chicken in the chili instead of beef…and I prefer the traditional style chili. The J-Man is a fan of the hearty Dinty Moore stew! They are a great thing to keep on hand in the pantry for those nights you just don’t feel like cooking, but still want a homestyle meal.
One of my families favorite meals is Chili Pie as well as Chili Style Nachos made with Hormel Chili Masters. Chili Pie is super easy to make and I am sure there are a lot of different ways to make it. My way involves a Bisquick topping with cheese of top of the chili and then baked in the oven. Chili style nachos is pretty self explanatory! Chili over nacho chips with cheese and all of your favorite toppings piled on top! You can’t get too much easier than that!

Watching this video below was pretty interesting. It shows how commercials throughout the years as well as the packaging. Some of the commercials I definitely remembered! I miss the way old school commercials were. One thing I noticed is that the packaging of the Hormel Chili and Dinty Moore Stew has not changed all that much through out the years. I like that. Watch below and see if you remember any of these commercials from your childhood!

I’m fond of pictures of woodsmen. Is that weird?
