Yesterday I told you a little about giving and things that my family does.  I also told you that Sam’s had some things going on and said I would be back today to fill you in.  So here it is…

Sam’s Club has launched the Giving Made Simple campaign.  Giving Made Simple will be splitting up  4 Million dollars among 8 different organizations within 2 categories: Youth Education and Entrepreneurship. They need you to vote to help decide what portion of the $4 Million dollars goes to which Charity!

These are great and very important organizations!  The great thing is…they will all receive a portion of the $4 Million!

Each participating organization will receive a portion of the $4 million donation based on Member votes. The top vote-getter in each category will receive $1 million each, the second-place winners will receive $500,000 each, and the third- and fourth-place winners will receive $250,000 each.

That is awesome!  The organizations could all use this money and they will all be getting it!  Sam’s Club…You ROCK!

Because you’re a Sam’s Club® Member, we believe you play an important role in our organization and should have a say in how we support the community. By voting on your preferred youth education or entrepreneurship organizations, you’ll help determine the portion of the $4 million donation that each will receive.

• You can also vote at your local Sam’s Club on Saturday April 10

Voting starts today and will run through May 2nd.  You are able to vote once per day!

• If you are a Sam’s Club member please vote at Giving Made Simple and leave a comment over there. Then come back here to this post and leave a comment telling me which charity you voted for and the name you commented under!
• If you are not a Sam’s Club member yet you can enter by promoting this campaign!  You can promote it on Twitter (use hashtag #samsgiving in your tweets), your blog and on facebook.   All you have to do is get others to go vote!   Once you have done that then please come back here and leave a comment tell me what you did and leave the URL so I can check it out!

After you have completed the main entry then you can do the following for bonus entries.  Be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry!
