So, You Want to Go Green When You Clean?

dreamstimefree_4791352I hear more and more people talking about wanting to be more green.  One place that they usually are making changes is in switching to green cleaning supplies.  Sometimes it can be pricey to be green.  I think it might be more affordable to be green if you were to get your supplies from an industrial cleaning supply store.  Companies that focus on selling to a particular clientele usually offer better deals and bulk purchases for things such as cleaning supplies.

It might be a good idea to go in with a friend who also wants to be more green and buy janitorial cleaning supplies in bulk and then split the product between the two of you.  In fact, since most of this stuff is concentrated you could probably go in on an order with several people to make it very affordable.

Have fun on your going green venture!

There are a lot of ways you can clean “green” without buying special cleaning supplies too. I use vinegar to clean a lot of stuff. I keep it (diluted with water) in a spray bottle for counters, mirrors, disinfecting toys, etc. Also, baking soda works really well to scrub away dirt. If you use baking soda to scrub and follow up with vinegar to disinfect (after you have rinsed off the baking soda, unless you want to a lot of bubbles) you can clean most things in your house. I buy the vinegar and baking soda in large containers at Costco.
