Yesterday was awesome! We went out to my sister in laws, which is in Bowie, TX. Quite a drive, but it was well worth it! All the typical Thanksgiving foods were available and Beth did an awesome job on everything.
My favorite? Her sweet potatoes! Doesn’t that look amazing?
Mmmmm her Turkey was pretty awesome as well. Actually there were two turkeys, one was cooked in the smoker and I forgot to try that one.
Green bean casserole, I never used to eat this stuff. I think I was afraid to try it. I sure do like it now that I am older and got over the fear!
Morgan baked her first Pecan Pie! It turned out great and was delish! She needs to post the recipe on her blog! I do love me some Pecan Pie!
Morgan also made her amazing and in high demand Banana Bread. It totally rocks. I have heard a friend descibe Morgan’s Banana Bread as “bangin’, haha! I think she may grow up to be a baker!
All the kids and some of the adults rocked out on the Wii, that was quite entertaining! Even Lauren was rockin’ out with the guitar!
I am thankful to have a great family and we had a great Thanksgiving! I hope you did too!
