Man, to be a kid again! Sliding down the slide so fast that your hair blows and you get that little woop de doo in yer belly! Now when I slide down I get stuck, I get a plastic burn or I get shocked. No fun! Every time I go down the slide I cringe anticipating the pain that is about to wreck havoc on my old body.
Arrowhead Park in Hickory Creek finally put in a playground for the kids. This is super awesome because this is our hang out! This is also the place that Morgan has dedicated herself to help keep clean. I think now that the playground is there we will visit even more than we did before.
I do have one complaint…err…make that two! My first complaint that is that they put it right next to the road that leads to the boat dock. Secondly, there are no benches around the playground area. There is a picnic table on the other side a ways back, but for safety reasons you can’t sit over there. Your kid could run straight into the road before you could get around the playground to get them. I hope that they put in some benches between the play area and the parking area soon.

That is a great photo! A new playground is exciting as long as your child stays INSIDE the playground. Wow. That’s a crazy location for a playground. I hope the powers that be sort that out soon for you. In the meantime, enjoy!

Now that looks like some serious fun. Last time I tried to go down the slide my hips got stuck at the top. I ended up turning and going down sideways.
