I Want a Vacation NOW!

New MexicoI need a vacation in a serious way. Today has been non stop stress.  You get money and it’s like everyone smells it and everyone has something suddenly due.  What a racket!  I keep thinking about getting away for a weekend and was looking at vacation rentals. Nothing far, just a weekend trip with the kiddos.

There is so much of this great state that I have not gotten to see.  I would love to take the kids down to a  South Padre Island vacation rental for a weekend getaway! Or maybe a New Mexico vacation rental!  I would love to go Santa Fe!  I have only seen New Mexico in photos and I bet it is even more beautiful in person!

Where would you love to take a mini vacation to?

  1. I think there’s much to be said for the power of a little bit of downtime and break from the “usual” that a vacation provides. I think it’s a good investment for the soul! My husband and I just moved to Atlanta, but I’ve always wanted to check out Savannah. That would be on my “mini-vacation” list for sure!

Assuming I am accepted to one of the six grad schools I have applied to we will be taking some great road trips this coming year! We live in NC but my schools span the country from VA to Boston to Cali!

I find that my “vacations” are when I’m home alone and no one’s bothering me. Lol, I guess I’m easy to impress. But I’ve always wanted to got to the Middle East. But more for educational than vacational.
