Harry Connick, Jr. Review and Giveaway

This giveaway is closed! The winner is comment #79!

Harry Connick JrJeremy thinks I am an absolute dork, but you know what…I LIKE Harry Connick, Jr.  and have since I was pretty young.  I especially love when he sings Christmas music.  Harry is a Singer, actor, composer, pianist, philanthropist, husband, and a father.  The One2One Network sent me the new Harry Connick, Jr. CD called Your Songs.

There is just something about his voice that sends me into a total relaxed state.  It even works on the kids!  Swear!  They were having snacks tonight at the table and were swaying in their seats to his music.  He did some of the greats on this one for sure!  Just check out the tracklisting below.

  • All The Way (Frank Sinatra)
  • Just The Way You Are (Billy Joel)
  • Can’t Help Falling In Love With You (Elvis Presley)
  • And I Love Her (The Beatles)
  • (They Long To Be) Close To You (The Carpenters)
  • Besame Mucho
  • The Way You Look Tonight
  • First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (Roberta Flack)
  • Your Song (Elton John)
  • Some Enchanted Evening
  • And I Love You So (Don McLean)
  • Who Can I Turn To? (Tony Bennett)
  • Smile (Charlie Chaplin)
  • Mona Lisa (Nat King Cole)

I was surprised when I played the CD for the first time at how many of the words I knew already.  It’s a comfortable CD to me.  Total Classics that will pull you in.  You can catch a behind the scenes look at the making of the album by clicking here.  I had no idea that he had been playing music since he was 3 and had his first public performance when he was only 6 years old!  He has several multi-platinum and gold albums! He has sold 25 million albums worldwide, and lets not forget all the Grammy, Tony and Emmy Awards; Oscar and Golden Globe nominations!
