I Got a New Brain!

And the winner is…..47

grapesI lost a good chunk of my brain over 11 years ago when I had my first daughter.  About 6 years later, another girl born and about 60% brain loss.  2 more years after that, brain loss of around 90%.

About Your Time LLC sent me new brain to try out.  With homeschool and 4H starting back up I needed help!   Also adding in blogging, graphics, sewing and all my many other tasks like uh, cleaning…I needed serious help!

After trying many planners that failed me (or maybe I had failed at using them)…I had my doubts.  What I was sent is called the BusyBodyBook. Mine  runs from Aug 09 until Aug 10.  Perfect for my hectic school/4H year!  It has room for everything!  It is set up in grids, so basically there is a square for each person in my household for each day!  No more trying to code things into little tiny boxes.  It also has a few pockets, some perforated grocery lists, places to write notes, doodle and even examples of different ways you can use it to make it work for you.  You can download some sample pages to check it out!aboutyourtime

I have been using this as a brain replacement for the past week and it has kept me sane! I am getting caught up!  I am accomplishing much more with my time…I have everything that needs to be done in a given day (by and for everyone) written down!  I highlight things as they are done and it has left me feeling more relaxed!  I have everything here, so now I do not stress about forgetting something.  I know..you’re all like jeez..it’s just a plannerUm, no it’s not.  I have used “just a planner” and “just a planner” just doesn’t work for a person that has lost their brain… such as myself.

You can buy your very own brain BusyBodyBook for only $17.95!

I love the BBB! It is a fantastic way keep the busy schedules of 5 family members all in one place. I could really use this to keep me from being late for activities, and to remind me which kid has which activity and when, and where. It would truly help me out. I love the columns idea. I could use it as a calendar for my household, and as a lesson planner for my classes. What a perfect set-up.

One of these could save my life because with 3 boys, 2 of them in school and sports, I never know if I am coming or going. Luckily the youngest is attached to me so no worries on that, but I just found out I was pregnant with baby #4 which adds a heck of a lot of doctors appointments in the mix of my already crazy busy life.

I have four brain parts missing! Very cute way of explaining the way our brain scatters into pieces as we add to our families. :) I really like this busy body planner, not only is is pretty, but it’s practical. I like how you can add the names or activities that you want. Most day planners do not work for me so I end up using 3 different things and end up forgetting something. Sounds like a winner! Thanks for sharing!

I have nothing left in MY head but the ability to visually organize. This be the stuff!
    Also sooo pretty and calm.
Nothing like a family organizer you can look at without losing even more brain cells to stress!
