Kyra Sedgwick plays Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT series “The Closer“.
In the fifth season of “The Closer“ , Deputy Chief Johnson and her team explore change. A former Atlanta detective brought to LA to head a special LAPD homicide unit. Her character is a kick butt investigator, but when it comes to her personal life…that girl is a mess! Just as Brenda starts adjusting to married life, she loses someone very dear to her. A certain squad member will have a complete attitude change after falling in love, another takes a second job and a fatal shooting of a suspect causes career complications for another.
