I Love Popcorn, it Makes Me Happy

Comments are now closed!

bg_hdr4We are one heck of a popcorn eating family.  My girls freak out when they hear daddy making popcorn.  He makes it old-school.  A big ‘ol pan, some oil and some popcorn kernels!

I’m too much of a wuss to kick it old-school, even though I prefer the taste much better.  So this mama likes to be safe and throw a bag in the microwave.  I wouldn’t want to burn the house down for some popcorn, so I’ll leave old-school to the J-man.

I also love to add those yummy seasoned flavors to popcorn.  Imagine how thrilled I was when I received a whole lotta’ popcorn making goodies from Kernel Season’s!

  • A bag of stove-top popping corn
  • Three bags of microwave popcorn
  • Popcorn spritzer
  • Six different seasoning flavors

When I opened the box the entire house was in awe of all the greatness that it contained!

Kernel Season'sThis was like the popcorn lovers mother-load!

The Popcorn kernels popped up to be some of the fluffiest popcorn I have ever had!  So much better than the cheapo stuff I buy at the grocery store.  In the long run this is a better value because more of the kernels popped too!

dscf4127

The seasonings…oh yum!  They are fantastic! I love the White Cheddar and the girls went nuts over the Ranch! They even have this awesome Popcorn Spritzer in butter flavor that is zero fat and zero calories! You use it and it makes the seasonings stick to the popcorn better so it does not end up in the bottom of the bowl.  RAD!

The microwave popcorn was awesome as well!  Nice big and fluffy kernels!  Oh Kernel Season’s how I love thee………..

I would love you even more if you made a dill pickle flavor!

Want some?

Thanks to Kernel Seasons I can give 2 readers an awesome prize pack!

  16. Carol says:

Wow! Here’s what I learned! What is Popcorn?
There are five different types of corn, and of the varieties (sweet, dent, flint, pod, and popcorn), popcorn is the only corn that pops. Although popcorn has a scientific name, zea mays everta, no two kinds of popcorn are alike. Kernels range in color from off-white to light gold, to red, black and many colors in between.

Once popped, popcorn has two basic shapes: snowflake, which pops big and is shaped like a cumulus cloud; and mushroom, which pops into a round ball.
