Awhile back my friend Erin was raving about coconut oil. Any ailment someone had she would simply say “Coconut Oil!” , I thought she was nuts at first..I mean really…could it really be good for everything?
Well, I wanted to know the answer! I started reading a lot about the benefits of Coconut oil. She was right! It’s pretty much good for everything!
Tropical Traditions was willing to let me test out the Virgin Coconut Oil they make. They sent me a 32 oz jar! I used to to cook a Stir Fry immediately. It was fantastic! The sweetness it added gave it a new taste that everyone loved.
They also sent me a copy the Virgin Coconut Oil Book! This book was filled with tons of information and recipes!
I am also using the oil straight on my skin where I had 2 C-sections. The scar gets irritated a lot and splits. I am hoping that using the oil with prevent this from happening anymore. I will also be using the oil daily to speed up my metabolism. I have written previous posts about health changes I am making and I think this is the safest, most natural way to help the weightloss along.
I plan on incorporating more of it into our diet. Just check out all the recipes they have posted online! They also have a very informative FAQ page!

the other stuff looks spiffy, but i want the gold label virgin coconut oil. been meaning to get some for weeks, it’s just super e’spensive.
I like the coconut flour. I am already a fan of Tropical Traditions coconut oil and use it for all kinds of things. Mainly cooking but I’ve also used it on my hair as a “hot oil” treatment.

As someone who needs to be on a Gluten-Free diet. This is what I found:
Tropical Traditions organic coconut flour is fiber from the coconut meat after most of the oil has been extracted to make Virgin Coconut Oil. It is certified organic, unsweetened, and has not been treated with sulfites. Tropical Traditions organic coconut flour is high in dietary fiber and protein, and is gluten-free.

I’m about to use it in my ear. If anybody has any comments, please let me know. I have a swolen lymph node, just below my right ear. It’s been like that for years and no doctor will deal with it. They all say ‘If it’s not effecting your life style, why bother’. I’m sick of these over educated nimrods. If it does anything, I’ll let you know.
