Log Cabin Making Changes For Our Health

Comments are now closedlog-cabin-bottle

Log Cabin has reformulated their pancake syrup by replacing High Fructose Corn Syrup with real Sugar!

The use of High Fructose Corn Syrup has sparked growing concerns amongst the health conscious.  Log Cabin has been a family household tradition since 1887!  I think it is wonderful that they are stepping up and making changes.

In the past I never even thought about High Fructose Corn Syrup until I went grocery shopping with my sister in law.  She is a label reader.  Every label.  You know what though?  That woman lost over 100 lbs in a year!  She inspired me a lot!  I am now a label reader because of her!  Thanks Mandi!

As some of you have read…I am making changes in my health.  This will be one of those changes, cutting out the bad stuff!  I will be buying Log Cabin Syrup made with real sugar!  The taste is delicious and you will love it! My girls all loved it and J-Man..the picky one in this home said it tasted better!

Log Cabin Syrup is giving two of my readers the opportunity to get a free bottle to try!

I just want to say that their sugar free syrup tastes just as good as regular syrup, and I can’t say that about other syrups.

Yeah if Jeremy likes it then it is good :-) Seriously though, you don’t realize how bad something is until you learn about it, using REAL stuff is so much healthier for you and it tastes much better! High fructose syrup is in almost everything you really have to pay attention, trans fat is the other main culprit making us all fat, it’s also disguised as partially hydrogenated oil or any hydrogenated oils and even packages that say 0 trans could be misleading, they are only required to put in on packages if it’s more than 2 % make sure you always read the INGREDIENTS cause that’s what’s in there…… glad you read labels now :-)

I didn’t know it was named for President Lincoln! I will be purchasing Log Cabin when we run out of syrup and try it to see how it compares to our usual syrup brand we buy! I’ll let you know!
