I roll around nekkid in a washbin full of Guiness and then I drink whiskey till I can’t see straight. My kids love it. They invite all their friends over to watch every year.

usually go to the parade, then we get lotos of irish food. II’ll make potatoes and onions cabbage, sometimes we’ll make shamrock cookies. Today Skylar and I put up our shamrock lights… and maybe we’ll go to the tipperary for lunch. I make Skylar an Irish themed dress every year as well. It’s our 2nd fave holiday after halloween.

I dress my whole family in green! Well, except for my hubby. He sneaks out of the house for work before I can get a chance LOL

  4. nikkicrumpet says:

It’s sad that we live so close to Boston and still don’t go in to see the parade. The traffic is just to ugly and there is never a place to park. The hubby is working, we don’t drink….so I’m afraid St. Patricks Day is just another day with nothing special. PITIFUL I know!

No special dinner planned? I’m sure the traffic is HORRIBLE! My parents live right outside of Savannah, and I hope to make it there for St Patrick’s day in the near future! What a blast!

  8. We’re all about the pinchin’!
Last year we were doing our now-infamous Year’o'Disney–studying all the countries of EPCOT’s World Showcase, and while Ireland isn’t represented in EPCOT, Downtown Disney does have a fab Irish restaurant called Ragland Road, w/ live Celtic music & dancing. So we decided to include a study of Ireland in our curriculum. We made corned beef & cabbage, and Mommy drank Guiness Stout (daddy doesn’t like dark beer. He drinks the yellow stuff. Ewww…)

    • Brandy says:

Ashley, I am so bummed! Every year I make Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner…Just got back from Krogers and the bastards were sold out of Corned Beef…what the heck!

So sad to say we don’t do anything special any more, but when the boys were little we colored everything green for the day – their milk (which looks totally disgusting with cereal), their lunches, and even their bath water. We did discover that green dye takes a long time to come off the skin though :)

    Thanks for the fun giveaway!
