Homemade Play-doh
March 13, 2010 · Leave a Comment
I blogged this a long long time ago. It’s kind of hard to find when searching my blog so I decided to repost it. This Play-doh is simple to make and does not involve any cooking! The little ones are able to do the majority of it themselves. First mix 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1/4 cup oil. Then add a pkg of koolaid mix (no sugar!) for yummy smell and color of choice. Then add 3/4 cup water. Mix well and then have a mama knead it til nice and smooth. You can find my original post with photos by clicking here. You can store this in a zip lock style freezer bag or air tight container! ... [Read the full story]

Something I Didn’t Know I Needed…
March 5, 2010 · Leave a Comment
I totally did not know I needed this. When I first laid eyes on it I knew, I did indeed need it. In fact I think it is for the better that everyone gets it. What am I am blabbering about you say? Well, this here car wedgee thing! As I watched the video I was nodding my head...yes…yes…YES! I immediately tapped the J-man on his shoulder so he would turn and see what I was seeing. This contraption is one of those…”why didn’t I think of that!????” items. I lose my cell phone among other things all the time while driving. Where has the Drop Stop been all... [Read the full story]

Winnie the Pooh is one of the most beloved classic characters ever. I don’t think he has ever went “out of style”. People continue to use the Winnie the Pooh character to decorate a nursery as well as to tattoo on their bodies. Trust me…I couldn’t even begin to count how many Winnie the Pooh tattoos I have done on grown women, as well as a few men! Now, I myself do not have a Winnie the Pooh tattoo, but I did have a lot of Classic Pooh items for my oldest daughter when she was just a wee one. Right now you can download to Winne the Pooh Freebies! Just click here... [Read the full story]

As a professional body piercer I feel a need to post a sort of public service announcement about “mall” style piercings. You know the kind you get at a place like Claire’s. A young girl with a piercing gun, with no sort of medical training shooting a blunt object through your child’s ear. ...
